2004 Edition of the Constitution EXECUTIVE
COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee of this Association shall consist of the
President, Vice President, Secretary and two members who shall be elected by the
Board of Directors from among their number, but who shall not hold any other
office elective by the Board of Directors. After
every reasonable effort has been made to contact as many members of the Board of
Directors as possible, the Executive Committee shall have the sole power to
authorize the execution of any contract on behalf of the Association, or the
expenditure of any of its funds. Any
delegation of power to the Executive Committee by the Directors shall not
operate to relieve said Board of Directors or any members thereof of any
responsibility imposed upon it or him. Meetings
may be called by the President or at the request of a majority of the members of
this Committee. |
